Walking Tour Instructions
The Legends uses its various amenities to celebrate famous Kansans in art, history, politics, adventurers, explorers, sports and athletics. In all, there are more than 80 tributes to legendary Kansans in a variety of art forms, including statues, portraits, and medallions, all of which comprise the shopping center’s goal to provide "edutainment." A free self-guided audio tour leads visitors through each corridor, providing information about The Legends and the artistic representations in which they are depicted, which begun on Feb. 1, 2007.
